Our Story

    Marks Horse Shoeing is a farrier service based in Epping NH and serving the east coast.

Joe Marks is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire’s pre vet program. He has been fortunate enough to grow up in the farrier trade and learn from some of the best farriers in New England and New York. Joe is a member of the American Association of Professional farriers and holds the Accredited Professional Farrier (APF) ranking, as well as, working towards his Certified Journeyman Farrier certification with the American Farriers Association. After almost a decade apprenticing part and full time Joe started Marks Horse Shoeing in 2010 with the goal of bringing the highest quality of service to his clients!

-Dressage

-Eventing

-Foxhunters

-AQHA (pleasure, barrel, roping and ranch)

-Saddlebreds

-Morgans

-Friesians

-Driving horses

-Trail Horses

 Joe also regularly teams up with veterinarians on lameness cases. Working on therapeutic cases he believes in a team approach! Veterinarians that he works with regularly are;

Joe grew up in New Hampshire team roping competitively and understands the rigors of competition on the sport horse! He considers himself an accomplished horseman. In his free time, Joe can be found at his NH farm with his wife and their ever growing herd!
